Tehran Offers New 14-Point Proposal in Talks With US
Iran has sent a new 14-point proposal to the United States through a Pakistani intermediary as talks continue over ending the ongoing conflict and rebuilding trust between the two countries.

A source close to Iran’s negotiating team told Tasnim News Agency that Tehran recently updated its earlier proposal after reviewing a response sent by the American side.

According to the source, both Iran and the United States have now exchanged separate 14-point texts in recent days as part of indirect communication efforts.

“Iran, in line with the recent practice of exchanging messages, has once again submitted its text in 14 points through the Pakistani mediator after making amendments,” the source said.

The latest Iranian proposal is said to focus mainly on negotiations aimed at ending the war and creating confidence-building measures from the American side.

Pakistan is reportedly playing the role of intermediary by carrying messages between Tehran and Washington as both sides avoid direct public negotiations.

The development comes at a time when international attention remains fixed on the conflict and possible diplomatic efforts that could open the door for future agreements between the two rivals.

While details of the 14 points have not been made public, sources indicate that Iran wants clear guarantees and practical steps from the United States before moving further in the talks.

Observers say the continued exchange of proposals shows that communication channels between the two sides remain active despite deep disagreements over security and regional issues.
