Injury Blow, But Arsenal Still Count on Havertz for Final Games
Arsenal’s Premier League title chase has taken a small hit, but not a decisive one.

The club remains hopeful that German forward Kai Havertz will still play a role in the final stretch of the season, despite picking up a muscular injury in their recent win over Newcastle United.

Havertz was forced off in the first half after appearing to struggle with an upper leg problem during the match against Eddie Howe’s side. The early exit raised concerns among fans, especially at a time when every game carries heavy weight in the title race.

However, Arsenal have chosen not to rush into setting a strict recovery timeline. Instead, the club is taking a careful approach, balancing urgency with caution. The belief inside the camp is clear: Havertz could still make a difference before the season ends.

Manager Mikel Arteta now faces a delicate task. With only four Premier League games remaining, every selection decision matters. Arsenal are chasing their first league title since 2004, and even limited minutes from Havertz could prove crucial in tight matches.

The timing of the injury adds another layer of pressure. Arsenal are also preparing for a huge European night, with a Champions League semi-final clash against Atlético Madrid. The first leg is just days away, stretching the squad and testing its depth.

For Havertz, this season has been far from smooth. A long knee injury earlier kept him out for six months, disrupting his rhythm and consistency. Since returning in January, he has worked hard to regain form, contributing five goals in 19 appearances.

Those numbers may not tell the full story. His movement, link-up play, and ability to step up in big moments have made him an important piece in Arteta’s system.

Now, as the season reaches its most decisive point, Arsenal are holding onto cautious optimism. The title race is still alive, the Champions League dream is within reach, and Havertz even if not fully fit could yet have a final say.
