Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo has disclosed his behind-the-scenes efforts that ensured King Saha's concert went ahead as planned, despite a temporary halt.
According to Kenzo, he received calls from the show promoter, Abitex, and King Saha's manager, Roger, seeking his assistance.
Kenzo then made several phone calls and participated in meetings with security agencies to resolve the issue.
"I helped them, and we talked to different people to help the concert proceed," Kenzo explained.
"I played my part to see it through, and all those people can testify.
" As the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), Kenzo emphasized that he had no reason to oppose King Saha's concert, as it benefits various stakeholders, including fellow musicians, businesspeople, and service providers.
Although Kenzo did not attend the concert personally, he was represented by Pallaso, the federation's vice president.
"I was personally busy, but the federation was present at the show, and I was represented by our vice president, Pallaso," Kenzo added.
